Special Non-working Holidays
- August 23 - Ninoy Aquino day
- November 01 - All Saints Day
- December 24 - pre-Christmas holiday
- December 31 - last day of the year
Special Holidays for Schools
- February 22 - 1986 People Power Revolution anniversary (monday nearest February 25)
Declarations for the Eid'l FItr and Eid'l Adha holidays have not yet been included in the proclamation.
Upon closer inspection of the list, several holidays have been left out. These are holidays we have to watch out for, for last minute declarations similar to what has happened this year, such as Black Saturday and All Soul's Day, and days sandwiched between major holidays, such as December 26.
