Eid'l Adha proclaimed as a National Holiday for 2010

The Office on Muslima Affairs (OMA) has recommended to the Office of the President that Eid'l Adha be celebrated on November 16, 2010.

The President has acknowledged this through the release of Proclamation No. 60 - declaring Eid'l Adha as a national holiday for the year 2010. As a national holiday, the date will be treated as a regular holiday across the country.  DOLE mandates the following treatment for regular holidays:

  1. If it is an employee's regular workday

    • If unworked - 100%

    • If worked

      • 1st 8 hours - 200%

      • excess of 8 hours - plus 30% of hourly rate on said day





  2. If it is an employee's rest day

    • If unworked - 100%

    • If worked

      • 1st 8 hours - plus 30% of 200%

      • excess of 8 hours - plus 30% of hourly rate on said day
