Food & Beverage Manager Needed for Montemar Beach Club

Montemar Beach Club Inc. is the only resort in Bataan which was rated AAA by the Department of Tourism. The Club is located in Bagac, Bataan which lies in the southwestern part of Central Luzon, 150.82 kilometers or about a 2 hour drive from Manila. Situated in a 12-hectare cove between the hills of Bagac and the pristine waters of the West Philippine Sea, the Club has an immaculate and private 500-meter stretch of white sand beach with clean and calm waters ideal for swimming and aqua sports. An established leisure spot since the 1980s, Montemar is regarded as the most beautiful white sand beach closest to Manila.

 
The Club has 3 dining facilities: La Terraza for appetizers and light snacks, La Marea for comfort Filipino and Spanish food, and Lanai for freshly grilled meat and seafood. In our dedication to provide excellent service to our clients, we are currently looking for a highly skilled individual who will be joining our team in our dining operations. This person will assume the role of a:



Food and Beverage Manager

(for Bagac, Bataan)


Responsibilities:



  • Organize, direct and evaluate food and beverage service, guest satisfaction, marketing, operating costs and hygiene.

  • Oversee and ensuring smooth day –to – day operation of the F&B operations of the resort

  • Ensure the prompt and efficient service of all meals, snacks, functions and beverages to the required standards

  • Monitor all special parties and functions e.g. wedding, special occasions etc…

  • Ensure practice of health and safety regulations.  (Public health and hygiene)

  • Ensure that all person in-charge including Executive Chef adhere to controlling procedures as outlined in the policy.

  • Ensure correct handling procedures to minimize breakage and food waste.

  • Manage / lead subordinates successfully into productive working methods by setting an example and utilizing all available management tools (manuals and checklists).

  • Recruitment and training of staff

  • Control on Shift scheduling

  • Performance management; monitor staff performance and provide feedback

  • Organize F&B Department meeting, to be minute with action column, check up from previous meetings, minutes to be sent to HO

  • Ensure that correct disciplinary procedures are adhered to especially with regard to correct handling of written warnings and record of same.

  • Follow up on disciplinary reports.




Requirements:



  • Bachelors Degree in Food and Beverage/Hospitality Management or any business related courses

  • Must have at least 3 years experience in Food and Beverage Service preferably in Hotel / Resort operation

  • Must have at least 1 ½ years hand – on experience as F&B Manager in a Hotel / Resort operation.

  • Must be proficient  in Food Costing, Cost Control and Cost Analysis, Budgeting and expense management

  • Must have solid experience in Banquet and Ala- Cart settings / operations

  • Must have a strong Management and Organizational skills (hands-on management style)

  • Should have a strong sense of urgency and responsibility

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Willing to be assigned in Bagac, Bataan

  • Must be willing to work irregulars hours, late evenings, holidays and weekends.
