August 9, 2013 is a Regular Holiday to Celebrate the Muslim Holiday Eid'l Fit'r

Malacañang has released the official proclamation declaring August 9, 2013 as a regular non-working holiday throughout the country.

This means that work rendered on this day will mean an additional 100% day's wage for 8 hours of work. All employees who have regular working schedules on this day are not required to report for work to celebrate the holiday, but will still be paid their basic daily rate.
