The government has released a new announcement moving the celebration of labor day from May 1, 2010 (Saturday) to May 3, 2010 (Monday). This is in accordance with the holiday economics scheme being used by the government.
News has been released on both Inquirer.net and GMAnews. I have attached a copy of the proclamation here - Proc. 2043 - May 3 Labor Day. The proclamation can also be accessed at http://www.news.ops.gov.ph/proc2043.htm
