Metrobank Foundation Vacancies

The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) is pleased to invite qualified applicants for the position of:

One (1) Program Coordinator/Assistant, Corporate Communications Unit

Summary of Responsibilities: To provide support to Unit Head in the planning, organizing and supervising corporate communications activities, both internal and external.

* Qualifications

a. Holder of four-year College degree preferably in Development Communications, Communication Arts, Journalism or Public Relations;
b. At least one (1) year actual experience in social media;
c. Preferably with skills in website development and maintenance; and,
d. A strong media network will be an advantage.

One (1) Program Officer, Special Concerns Unit

Summary of Responsibilities: To establish an organized research and learning mechanism that will enhance the organization's knowledge and practice in the field of corporate social responsibility, corporate citizenship and social development.

* Qualifications

a. Holder of four-year College degree preferably in Political Science, Public Management, Social Science, Social Work and Development. A Masters' Degree in relevant field will be an advantage;
b. Actual experience of at least three (3) years in planning/design/implementation/monitoring and evaluation of projects;
c. Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative researches;
d. At least 2 years supervisory experience in general administration, i.e., managing people, fiscal and physical resources;
e. Strong knowledge of CSR and development trends will be an advantage; and,
f. With excellent written and oral communication skills.


It is expected that successful applicants for the position will be committed to stay with the Metrobank Foundation for a minimum period of two (2) years.

One (1) Project Consultant, Metrogold (Metrobank's 50th Anniversary)

Summary of Responsibilities: To propose conceptual and operational framework and budget of identified programs of Metrogold and to recommend program monitoring and evaluation tools for the programs developed.

Terms of Engagement: full-time or part-time basis, up to September 30, 2012.

* Qualifications

a. Holder of four-year College degree preferably in Social Science, Social Work and Development, Public Administration and Political Science;
b. With actual experience of at least three (3) years in planning/design/implementation/monitoring and evaluation of projects;
c. Experience in conducting action researches;
d. With strong network in both government and private organizations;
e. Actual experience in events management will be an advantage.
f. With excellent written and oral communication skills.

Overall Scope
The position is primarily responsible for coming up with initiatives, programs and plans to ensure that employees develop a sense of commitment to the organization and its values, advocate volunteerism, motivate employees beyond job satisfaction, champion employees' sense of fairness and trust in the organization and generate a positive reinforcement of values, culture and relationships among employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder; preferably a graduate of Mass Communications, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or any related discipline.
• At least 5 years proven experience in administering climate surveys, events management, management of funds/budget & internal communications in a medium to large-scale companies
• At least 2 years people/team management experience or leading workgroups
• Has experience in handling Engagement and Retention (conducting, gathering and processing results of focus group discussions)
• Excellent facilitation skills and able to address large group of audiences
• Has experience in demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and high energy level
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience in graphic design and visual arts an advantage
• Event hosting an advantage
• Exposure to labor laws and creation of policies an advantage
